|I’ve had many students send beautiful messages. Some students have asked for online classes, others are using the recorded class we made on the final Friday, several offering to pay for classes and all sending kind wishes. I’m so grateful for you all and so thankful to live in a small tight knit Yoga community.|
My personal practice has been a huge support to me during this time. I plan to start with two classes next week and if there is demand I’ll add more classes over the next few weeks. Classes will be held on ZOOM with payment by donation. If you have a green card you’re welcome to use it as you choose, or use my bank details (see below) but if you have lost your income there is no obligation to pay at all. I wont be checking payment so you can also make this anonymous.
First week classes will be:
Monday April 27 2.30 – 3.30 pm
Pranayama (breathing practices), Relaxation & Meditation
This class can be done seated in a chair, seated on floor or lying down (or a combination of all three!) Have a shawl near by and remember to silence your phone. No Yoga props necessary.
Thursday April 30 9.30-10.30 am
For this class you will need a Yoga mat and a couple of blankets, possibly a cushion, block or strap will be handy too. If you own a bolster have it near by. No need to purchase anything except a mat. (lots available on line if you feel like a fun search) If you don’t have the means to purchase a mat let me know and I’ll find one for you.
I will send the ZOOM link each Monday mid morning for the 2 classes in one email. Download ZOOM downloaded onto your chosen device and click on the individual class link in the email before each class. The meeting will open about 15 mins before class starts so you have time to settle in. If you’re not on my emailing list please get in touch with me via the contact page and I’ll add you.
I wont be able to give specific feedback to individuals as I will be too far from the camera to see detail but I’m happy to stay on after classes if anyone has questions. As with all classes please move carefully and mindfully paying attention to what your body is telling you. Other family members including kids are welcome.
